Hey guys, just thought I'd share with you my first ever ffrr L322 Overfinch. Never owned a rr before but always wanted one and had to be an overfinch. Money was always a factor but now decided i had to have me one. Been looking for one for a while and then i seen one i just had to have on eBay. £100 deposit and 4 weeks later (long story, will explain later) now on my drive.
2008 100k miles with exceptional service history, 3 owners and no expense spared for a princely sum of £9995. Let me know your thoughts good or bad and what problems should i expect to arise? I do know they have their faults which i factored in with my decision, but i just had to have one.

Welcome and enjoy.

To be honest, one can hear lots of horror stories and jokes about reliability etc. But, it really isn’t that bad at all; or it doesn’t have to be. I mean it’s an 13 year old car, it will likely require some replacement parts at some point just like any other 13 year old car would. Maintain it well, drive it with mechanical sympathy and you should have many years of pleasure from it.

Welcome to a fellow Overfinch owner, worth investing in an authenticity certificate from Overfinch if you don’t have already. Holland and Holland Range Rover By Overfinch

Hey thanks guys. Realising its 13 years old it will need some parts, but it has been well maintained regardless of cost and I'm going to do the same with it. I've certainly got the grin factor and I'm hoping it will last as long as the grin factor i had with my 2008 saab 9-5 hot aero that i had for the last 7 years.

That's my next to do on Tuesday, to get in touch with Overfinch for a certificate, £50 i do believe and money well spent me thinks.
It's the 3.6 diesel, i was so after the SC Overfinch but didn't really see any that i liked, high mileage, too many owners, bad condition etc etc. But I'm so happy with the diesel. Didn't realise i was doing a ton up the M5 the other day lol.
The pics i put up were from the eBay ad, but i will post more up tomorrow once I've given it a good waxing. Totally cleaned the inside all day today, leather cleaned, fed, polished the piano black, looks so much better.

Nice, does it have a sport exhaust system? Or standard? As the 3.6 works VERY well with sports exhausts Thumbs Up

Hey Craig i believe it's the standard exhaust though i thought about a sports exhaust for it before i collected it. Could you point me in the right direction on who does the sports exhaust and cost? That would be a great help thanks. I'm based in Lichfield but car is also in Bristol too when I'm at work.

Unnecessary quote removed

The grin should be there for a long time. I mean if you had it on a 9-5 hot aero with all that power going through the front wheels (I remember it well from my 9-3 t18) this remains grins but without the scared face as well. Rolling with laughter

Ah blackdog, you never forget driving a powerful saab, I'll be sad to see it go i really will, had it for 7 years and not once did it let me down. It's up for sale on eBay at the moment. If i had the space i would keep it. Loved every moment of it, especially at lights with the fantastic sports button leaving the divs stood still in their loud but go nowhere fast focus's lol.

As promised, now it's up to my standard of being waxed. I use that Harley's carnuba wax, i find its the best on the market at the moment. Really brings the colour and shine out.

It is an amazing colour! I really like it.

Yes, I wish Saab was still going. I’ve had a fair few. My first ever car was a first series 900 2.0 Turbo in amethyst.

Thanks guys for your comments. Must admit I'm loving the colour, so different and never seen another Overfinch in this colour, looks different shades at different angles.
