United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

Gave it it's 4th coat of Harley's carnauba wax today within the last 4 weeks. How much is too much or am I getting carried away? My missus thinks I'm going through a midlife crisis Confused
Trouble is I'm just loving the shine when it's waxed, it's the first red car I've ever had.

That looks superb. When should I bring mine round? Laughing

Must look brilliant when the light starts to fade of an evening,I’ll take it you have a machine polisher. Holland and Holland Range Rover By Overfinch

Thanks guys, I think it's becoming an obsession. Considering I had my Saab aero for 9 years and always kept it tip top, I never waxed that much, about 3 times a year. Who thought? A fattie could change a man Laughing
I do have a machine polisher John, it's a sealey polishing mop they use in body shops. Excellent bit of kit, I used to be a valeter many moons ago so I bought myself one a few years ago, handy machine to have and worth the money. And Dunc, your not too far away you can give yours a once over with it. To be fair I much rather use the mop rather than a clay bar, less effort.

OMG I drove my car home in the early hours of this morning from Bristol and it's the first time I've driven my car in the dark and just found out that it's got ambient lighting in the all the door handles and door pockets as well as in the roof panels front and rear where the courtesy lights are. I've had the car for over 2 months and only just found this out. I was that excited finding that out that I woke my missus up when I got home to tell her at 2am Laughing
And not only that, I also found out it's got cornering lighting too, I've never been this excited about a car before. I wonder what I'll discover next.

Nice, makes it more of an occasion I’m sure. Things like that do feel like a big win.

Had a similar revelation moment when I was looking up reviews late one evening on the Toyota GT86 TRD model Mrs S owns , which my son and I sourced, and thought the number plate looked familiar only to cotton on over an hour or two it is the only press car of the 165 produced as featured on the front cover of Autocar and had 3 appearances in Evo magazine, a Toyota HQ , media and Goodwood Festival of Speed car and also featured at the Toyota Motorsport Group HQ with their Le Mans cars. Mrs S had to be woken up for that ! We are still finding new photos, videos 3 years on, bonkers Holland and Holland Range Rover By Overfinch

You have 2 great cars there John with the H&H and Toyota, some serious provenance on them. Would add some serious selling value on them should you wish to sell.

Bought an overfinch steering wheel from chefkenmore and fitted it this morning. Also fitted the electronics into the wheel too for the paddles to work. Next job, fitting the electronics by the gearstick so will have full paddle shift function. And poor chef in true Scottish fashion is effing and jeffing, would hate to be his neighbour Laughing sorry Dave.

Thanks guys, fitted the electronics this morning while I got the time and feels amazing using the paddle shift so much better than waiting for the delayed kickdown when you floor it.

Thanks, it's lovely and chunky, feels amazing in the hands. Missus not happy with what I spent on the wheel, but then I don't moan when a new handbag and shoes turn up lol.

The lighting from the roof is called Waterfall Lighting. It came as part of the BMW involvement. My 1988 735i had it too.
