I don’t agree with that. First thing I noticed when I set eyes on the L405 was the rotary shifter popping up when the car was turned on. It felt so futuristic and cool. Like I was getting into a spaceship and it recognized I was ready to drive off. Super cool in 2014. Im certain I wasn’t the only one who thought this. These little touches is what separated it from the crowd. So now that’s gone plus the tailored looking dash with the built in unit. 2 steps back IMO

Exactly what Mat Watson (and I) thinks - and a possible explanation at min. 1:35 - 1:45...

lol see!!! everyone thought the pop-up rotary was cool. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Is today your preview day Dixy?

I think it must be - A friend of mine mentioned he was going to Gayden today.

We all look forward to hearing your opinion on it when you get chance to update.

Fully understand you can't broadcast details Dixy.

Just spoken with a friend of mine who also went today, so I have a fair idea.

Not for me , no invite , but then I’m not likely to be spending so much money…. Might make mine last a couple more years, just depends on how much I need to scratch the itch…

Some people mentioned self closing doors, a wife winning option, not the wife just the approval.
Parking by remote control . YES PLEASE, no more touring of carparks looking for a space wide enough to open a door. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

It's more important you park in a space wide enough for others to open their doors!

Self parking is a bit of gimmick, but I did use it a few times on my 7 series (other than demonstrating it to friends!). MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

I won't be ordering one, at least not just yet.

As many have said, I suspect there will be teething troubles, so I'd rather let others be part of that process. Also, I would rather see some examples in the metal before choosing my spec, if I do eventually decide to change.

I've been told, this video is the closest to the overall appearance of the new car, although I didn't ask for clarity about the side vents, think more overall shape, front and rear lights:

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zermatt Silver

Just looked at the video, which is obviously based on artistic renderings. Looking at the spy shots and the video it looks as if the body height is deeper and the height of the glass shorter, hope not as that would look more like the Evoque. Not that I will be in a position to afford one for several years anyway, Big Cry but still looking forwards to see what the new one looks like.

As for parking in tight spots where the doors can no longer open enough for access, what does one do when it sulks and does not want to come out of said tight spot. Hope they have strong towing points Whistle

Not at all, plus this clips uses different images that have been online for months/years. The rear lights don't even match between the 2 "renderings"

Expect the LRO renderings to be much closer that 'this'. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l
