United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover TDV8 Vogue Auto Buckingham Blue

I went for DirectLine for the RR £625. My profile is

34 years old
5 years + NCB
No points
Protected NCB
Courtesy Car
Legal protection
RAC Trackster fitted (requirement of the policy)

For a SE London postcode, the price was the cheapest I could find on all of the comparison sites. To be honest, I haven't checked the policy for off road driving but if I was going off road, I may consider an investment in a £500 frontera or something along those lines.

From the quotes you guys are getting, sounds like I need to move to the counties Neutral

No one site covers all financial services providers so it pays to check a handful to get a broader view of the market - and the cheapest price.

However, consumers must give exactly the same responses for each of the questions in order to get an accurate comparison, changing just one can skew the results significantly.

There are also lingering doubts over the whole impartiality question. Some of the biggest names in the game are owned by insurance groups - for example, confused.com is part of the Admiral Group while Comparethemarket.com is owned by the Budget Insurance Group - but these maintain they offer a completely independent service and offer services from a wide range of providers.

Many also have exclusive deals with suppliers to ensure they're not simply cut from the loop as the consumer goes straight to the provider.

Really is worth doing the rounds on confused / gocompare / directline (not so good) and checking the detail, then having a go at beating up your existing insurer. They are always going to try to get away with it! Renewal just came in at £574 - so round we go again Smile Have "RSW All Comms" in Hampshire - happy to help Smile

old git

2005 td6 hse
no points / convictions
about a 100 years no claims

comprehensive

cost £263 with only £200 compulsory excess, would have been £216 with £200 compulsory and £250 voluntary..
