On the computer screen roll the selector over to the trip you want to reset then push in the button and select reset Bushy

First off I would get it serviced, if not already done, and have the gearbox oil & filter changed if it's not recorded in the service record.
You mention the seat, if the foam is flat then you can get a new foam base for it that's relatively cheap and you can bring up the leather again with some Scuff Master, just choose the correct colour of your leather and they supply a 65ml kit what work wonders.
I used it on my Shogun and you couldn't see where it had warn when it was cleaned, re-coloured and fed.

My plans with my 2003 V8 is to get everything working as it should and add a few creature comforts, I'm in the process of fitting Bluetooth and have already fitted a digital TV tuner.
This week I put a clay bar over the paintwork, polished & waxed it, what a difference!

I've been looking at 2006 rear lights (white + red) and will wait for some to come along at the right price.

Oh and a sound investment is the IID Tool, great for reading & clearing ECU faults, altering parameters and other settings like making your full beam units act as daylight running lights.  

Budgie, I'm interested in the IID tool but want to buy the right one of course.

Would it clear and reset messages such as air suspension inactive?

IID can clear all faults, about with suspension settings and faff around with the car config. They are bloody brilliant and practically pay for themselves when dealers say "we'll plug in a test book and that'll be 1 hours labour". The look on their face when you say it's not necessary and give them the fault codes is great. Also with access to RAVE (link in the Wiki) you can translate the fault code to a problem and usually sort it yourself. It's never good to pay for an hours labour when you're just changing fuses or fixing a loose connection. Oh and if you haven't had the "pleasure" of a main dealer yet, an hours labour is £100+, so find a decent local Indy

I believe you can get rid of the air suspension inactive fault code, as long as there isn't a genuine fault, by simply turning the steering wheel from lock to lock to reset the sensors. You tube it, powerful uk posted a video about this. Bushy

Morning guys,

I think there's an intermittent problem with the AS but when the car went into for a service recently they cleared it and it worked afterwards.

I've tried the steering lock left to right and to no avail unfortunately.

So I really need to know which IID tool is the best for general stuff and one that will also clear AS faults like this one. I'm guessing if the dealer was able to clear then I wil be able to with the right IID?

My IID Tool arrived yesterday. Great piece of kit but if you have dodgy pixels it may be hard work. I made some config changes, turned off steering wheel retraction, turned on auto lock function. Cleared all faults and will see which have returned today.

My 2nd choice was the All comms as the lynx is new and there is little feedback out there on it.

No, you can plug the IID Tool into a USB port on your PC and update the software that way. So you'll still get the latest updates but have the pleasure of using it in the meantime.  

Well the one thing I really need to be able to do is clear the EASN fault.

If it will do that then I'll buy it.
