How many times have you ran the car in that 200 miles? Cel code only pops up after 3 runs with a pending code iirc

I didn't know that. So...

I reset codes this morning.
I ran it up to Manchester and stopped for 45mins.
Then drove to city centre and stopped for 2 hours.
Then drove back from Manchester.

I will update you if It comes on again. Range Rover Vogue SE 2007 L322 4.2 Supercharged 121k. Engine rebuilt @ 120666 Miles

A certain member on here had very similar problems going by your input. I'd start with the following mate and see where that leads you as it sounds like a fuelling problem.

Spark plugs,
Fuel injectors (refurb or replace)
Fuel rails

You could I guess try chucking some injector cleaner in but that's not something I'd personally do as I've seen what it can do. I own a subaru impreza so short cuts are a strict no no with them.

Other then that take it too a specialist and get them too live read it and see what the fuelling is like

Keep us updated either way though mate

Hi Bean, thanks for the message the spark plugs have been changed with the engine rebuild.

So I guess my question is if I get no more misfire codes but the engine still shudders at certain points at idle can mechanics narrow down which injector has the issue or do I have to replace all?

Before looking at fuel rails that is? Range Rover Vogue SE 2007 L322 4.2 Supercharged 121k. Engine rebuilt @ 120666 Miles

Was it me?

Have you tried swapping coils over to see if the problem moves bank to bank? Current stable:

I now am not seeing any Misfire alerts. However I have just thrown a P0174 system lean on bank 2 arrggghhhh.

I am doomed with this car.

If with all the history of having a complete engine rebuild and the supercharger completely rebuilt and the fact i saw this same code pre all that work must mean it an historical problem which I am hoping is leaning towards fuel delivery.

However I have a mechanic looking on wednesday and will be checking coil packs and injectors as the next step. I am assuming this is the right thing to do?

I am preying its not fuel rails as they cost a fortune by the look of it. However if it solves it Ill pay what it takes.

I will update you all. Thanks again.

Cheers. Range Rover Vogue SE 2007 L322 4.2 Supercharged 121k. Engine rebuilt @ 120666 Miles

With no misfire codes it's unlikely to be coil packs, fuel rail and injectors are more likely... Pete

Hey Dingg,

the misfire alerts havent come back after clearing errors for 250 miles now. So I wonder if it was a false positive. This P01074 code now seen is an historical one and one I had before engine and supercharger rebuild so I am suspicious of the injectors/coil packs and fuel delivery as that is an area that hasnt been renewed lately.

I will relay findings after Wednesday. Very Happy Range Rover Vogue SE 2007 L322 4.2 Supercharged 121k. Engine rebuilt @ 120666 Miles

It's not 4, one is enough to make the symptoms the OP has... the fuel rails give problems as well..!! Don't know how they deteriorate but it's a commonish issue... Pete

In mine you could watch the cylinder misfire counters going up on my scanner but not enough for it to throw a fault. New coils fixed it and did new plugs after too. Current stable:
