England 2009 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I bought an Autotel AP200 for my 2017 (but MY2018) Jaguar F Pace and it wouldn’t work as it only covered up to 2017 so I returned it. This was despite asking the seller if it would work on my car, which they claimed would be ok, therefore I can say from personal experience that it doesn’t work with all JLR cars. 2017 Jaguar F Pace 25t Portfolio - still part of the JLR family 😀

You asked for evidence to back up a claim so I provided it. There’s no need to be deliberately antagonistic with comments which are not in the slightest amusing. 2017 Jaguar F Pace 25t Portfolio - still part of the JLR family 😀

Got the Autophix 7310 from AliExpress, somewhat oddly it was from a UK supplier. I paid £38, but the price does seem to fluctuate (£50 when I post this). You can update to the latest info by PC/Laptop and USB so I wouldn't be too concerned about seeing the numerous 2024 versions on AliExpress. The latest firmware I installed when I got it was dated May 2025.

So far so good. I've managed to reset the service counter post an oil change this morning and have also seen a multitude (ok not that many, but still more than 10) of codes that are registered. I have a suspicion that a battery change may be imminent - battery tester ordered.

As above, purchase and update was easy. Without trying the other options it's difficult to know what's better, but at less than £50 it's a 90% option vs the Gap IID tool.

Can this one:

Read the transmission oil temp?
Set to extended height air suspension?

I have an old ELM 327 OBD2 reader that seems to work reading codes and temps, depending on what iOS app you download. I wonder if this Autophix is similar or better than what I have now.

It's only $38 USD so I may take the plunge.

I have both a L405 and L460, the Gap IID tool seems expensive to have to buy two licenses and then have to pay extra on top to,maybe get extra add ons like remember last auto stop setting or turn on euro lights?

Thx in advance. 2023 L460 Range Rover SE P400

I've checked and it can read the transmission temp. I had a look in the JLR special functions menu and it does have a section for the air suspension, including options such as deflating the entire system, calibration and tight tolerance mode, but I didn't see anything for extended height. There is an option to go into build/manufacturing mode, but other than throwing up some errors that I had to reset, it didn't seem to do anything else.

I just received mine and I looked about 10 times at the 'Datastream' section and was not able to see any other temp readings than Engine Oil Temp and Engine Coolant Temp and Ambient Air Temp. I updated it to the latest May 2025 firmware. Do you mind taking a picture of your Transmission Temp? Maybe I am missing it? This is the main reason I needed this so I can change the transmission oil. 2023 L460 Range Rover SE P400

Step by step below - You can find it in the JLR section. Note the transmission temp is on the very last page of the datastream so you have to scroll all the way through.
