There's a mod you can do to the wiring on the sender unit. From memory you cut out a connector and solder the wires back together. Easy once you get to the sender/pump.

I've just put Pirelli Scorpion All Season SF2 on the front. Find they have a slight Land Rover drone. Haven't been on the motorway yet. Hesitating about putting them on the rears.

Probably the heater control valve. I replaced the original with an ebay special 18 months ago and have had to do it again. Consider genuine parts if you plan on keeping it.
