You can set the dials in essentially a torch mode which greys out the area either side of the numbers around where the pin is.

I'm not sure about the L405, however, the L322 requires a specific quantity of oil rather then being filled to the level of the fill plug as that is overfilled.

From memory the exhaust gas temperature sensor not working can cause the car not to regenerate the DPF. If that's right, worst case you'll get a DPF warning on the dash.
