No experience of 405, but doesn’t the 4.4 have the cornering anti roll system and the 3.0 not? More than happy to be corrected.

As above I recon. I had same bit of damper come off due to corrosion. Replaced both with Bilstein ones from Island 4x4.

You can disable the remote from the front screen, if I remember right. Not used mine for a bit.
Assuming there isn’t a fault of course.
