someone knows the exact type of transponder inside the key? should be type PCF7936AS but I'm not sure because all my keys are lost. Anyone has the key for quick check? I need generate new key and transponder, I'm tolking about L322 BMW with 3 buttons key, no flip key.

thank you Daveo, I Can't open your link due the Europol block. anyway I know that is Chip nemed ID44 but the correct code of Phlips Id 44 wich is? Sometime called PCF7935AS and sometime PCF7936AS
, so is very difficult understand for me. Iwish someone can chek this transponder by the key

The problem is that I have no other transponder key to chek this,
I removed also EWS 3 from the car and read immo by the EWS EDITOR BMW , than generate new chip PCF7935AS.
The new transponder can unlock steering and igniction barrel, but engine can't start.
For this reason I thinking that mybe need PCF7936AS chip, different from pcf7935as

i think when prog a chip it has to be with the car as the prog talks to the cars ecu and copy's the current rolling code

so you are confirm that the correct chip is PCF7935AS'Right?
And most important , you had performed new key chip? but i'M not understand because I bought 2 new flip style keys like this

the keys arrived with ID44 chip inside (pcf7936as) than are uncorrect or what?
Bmw EWS editor can write only PCF7935 and PCF7930,

At this point I believe that correct chip is PCF7936 ??

Sorry Daveo , but I need restore the variable part of the code EWS agreed with the engine control unit DME / DDE ?
I tried also to do EWS-DME Allignment but with inpa edibas and BMW Scaner and GT1 is impossible

anyway, after much research, I discovered that, from 2002 to 2006, were mounted different transponders
i.e. 56 plate have PCF7936AS inside, whle 52 plate diesel fit PCF7930AS,
would be nice to know, what years and what transponder.
as I told allmy keys was lost, so I generated new transonder with PCF7935AS, and work correctly.
if anyone is interested, or want to take your key, it would be nice

What just happened here?

Can you simply buy the key with the transponder, and then code it to the car, without outside/dealer intervention? Or did I miss something? .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

yes there are several chip types but i am not sure what comes with what, fit PCF7936AS my key comes up as a 57 block key rover and can only be read by land rover, they would order the chip and it would be part programmed, they then would then complete the program in the car, V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

joe,yes, I bought a new blank key, with transponder, and had PCF7936AS inside, then I bought others 5 transponders type PCF7935AS because BMW editor can not write PCF7936AS (only PCF7930AS PCF7935AS E) there isn't a tool, that can read EWS and Generate PCF7936AS directly
Now my generated, PCF7935AS works properly on my V8 4.4, but I do not know what is the original.
My friend, has a 2002 diesel and has key with PCF7930AS
Furthermore, 5 days ago I bought a used key on t ebaya, from a 2006 diesel, inside I found PCF7936AS

So I believe that the PCF7936AS be used on newest models

I bought EWS EDITOR, which encodes ALL BMW ews ecu , can read and program blank transponder. works with all ews but only with two types of transponders. (PCF7930AS - PCF7935AS) . the editor is very easy and intuitive,
with this tool , you can clone transponder or generate new blank chip.

if someone needs generate transponder key or encode ews, I can share it, but it is not easy from here .

I bought also IMMO emulator, but need ISN number to fit it, and the number can't be read by INPA,BMW SACANNER or GT1 and/or SSS Progman, that I usually use as diagnostic tool.

i have been told that my chip can not cloned, it has to be ordered part programmed and then the dealers complete the process, if you had lost both your keys haw did you get you file to programmed the new chip.. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
