Does anyone have any experience of Orange signal/service in Meribel at all?

Im looking at a PAYG sim to keep my data going while there and allow the odd call/text as they are doing a 1/2 price offer when ordering online at the minute so i pay CHF5 for the sim and get CHF10 credit on it which is also CHF2 per day for a fair few hundred gig of data and should slot into my mobile of choice as well  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

In the resort signal tends to be ok, although you may end up roaming. Up the lifts it's 50/50 chance of getting a signal.

Swiss Orange offer the world prepay option for CHF5 which is great value for money and stick another CHF10 on would see me through to the end of the holiday for roaming on data and calls as im guessing they will have some reception in that region even if its not good.. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

If I read it correctly, the Orange World PrePay option correctly, then it's for international CALLS FROM Switzerland TO abroad.

The data mentioned is for Switzerland only - "Tarif to all CH networks"

I only read the details as I've never come across a personal plan with decent roaming data charges.

Dam forgot that! Kept thinking Switzerland off to orange france website ten to see what they offer!

Literally great for building snowman so that's tonight's mission when i get some time! Glad we got a load of beer and supplies as beer isn't cheap here and there are two places on piste that are meant to r even more expensive! kp if you are in Meribel you need to got to Rond Point for an après ski (from 3pm onwards) drink - it's a great big bar which has a different live band each day and has a great atmosphere! The bands are only on from 4pm or so and the whole place closes at 7pm. Very jealous, enjoy! 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

just back from a few days in Morzine.Weak front passed over the Alps thurs and fri and brought some lovely fresh powder,you'll have some great snow up there this week Kingpleb
