If light on in middle of dial, you have the setting in lock mode ? Try releasing lock mode so the AS can move up and down. .

The light is on in the middle of the dial, not sure how you release it though? I have tried twisting the switch either way but nothing happened. 2002 Vogue Epsom Green with Ivory Leather.

Nothing happens when I try to release the lock mode, if I try adjusting the height the it just flashes once then nothing happens

I'm wondering if it might be best to leave it until codes have been read rather than deleting he code as chances are it will return? What do you think?

We always read the codes in any vehicle before we re-map it and its not unusual to find quite a few, we erasde them and then take the car for a drive and see if any return before we suck the map out and alter it. It would be nice to know what codes nit has thrown though. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Just to confirm, you are trying to move the suspension with all the doors closed?

Yes, it was working perfectly up until yesterday then the 'air suspension inactive' came up on the dash, the light next to normal road height is illuminated, the light on the dial ( the one that comes on when you lock it in position) is also illuminated and it has totally locked the system

Well just had the garage on the phone and it needs a new compressor, ill post up the actual fault codes when I pick it up, they have quoted me £360 all in for a new unit so I'll have to weigh up my options

Seems a lot of money - a compressor only take 20 mins to fit with a 10mm socket being the only tool needed.

Will the fault codes need clearing after? also I'm just concerned if its the battery that's caused it and if I do the compressor myself then I won't have a comeback if its a mid diagnosis, they seem convinced its the compressor but would it throw the same fault if the battery voltage dropped to low?

Meerbusch has quoted me €230 to rebuild my compressor but there is a brand new one on eBay for £225 so probably the better option unless anyone knows of any cheaper rebuild kits?

Just picked it up and the fault code is 'reservoir pressure static when filling' just seems strange as since iv had it the air suspension has always been quick to go up etc but has failed only a week after re calibration, are the demands higher on the compressor now the rear is sitting at the higher, correct height and this is why the compressor is struggling now? The garage have been good to me to be honest as they haven't charged me anything yet but could still do without a £360 bill this month, is it worth stripping and speaking it like in the wiki or is this for different faults? Cheers for the help so far Smile
