seems like it , maybe thats why its lower on one side because there's not enough air to level it.... ... - .- -.

Bit of advice please, iv ordered a new compressor for my Indy to fit, it was supposed to arrive yesterday but looks like it will be some time today, my Indy said they should be able to squeeze it in sometime today but if it arrives to late I'm wondering if I fit it myself then disconnect the battery and touch the cables together will everything work? I'd leave it till tomorrow as the supension was just sitting at normal road height but lastnight I had the engine running and the door open for about 20 minutes whilst talking to someone and when I drove off the passenger side has dropped and its siting a bit 'wonky' I'm off to Scotland tomorrow so would like to get it sorted before I go so do you think I should fit it myself if it arrives to late for the garage to fit? |

Another thing, if I fit it myself do I need to change the relay aswell (read somewhere you should change it when fitting a new compressor) if so, where is it located? Cheers |

I was advised to change the relay - think it was about £6

I should be ok swapping it over but just wondering about clearing fault codes, currently got 'air suspension inactive' on the dash so wondering if disconnecting the battery will clear it :s |

The compressor iv bought doesn't come with the turtle but I was told I could reuse my old one, how do I separate the compressor from the turtle? Iv just been out and if you remove the four bolts the full thing lifts out but I assumed the 3 bolts on top loosened to separate but when I try loosening them they just spring back? |

If the underlying fault is fixed by replacing the compressor, you should be fine (if you also do the steering lock thingy).

When I changed mine, I was told that we wouldn't have to clear any codes - doing the steering lock thing would be sufficient.

With my luck I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't solve the issue, any ideas how to remove the compressor from the turtle? If I can't get it fitted by tomorrow dinner time and it doesn't solve the issue I will be putting the car up for sale as iv had 20 odd cars in the past and none of them have stopped me going on holiday lol |
