Had a bong on turn off yesterday, air sus inactive again but at middle height centre light on nob still off, sus would go up and down steering wheel volume levels not working or next track or cruise control, sinkers not showing on dash either but working externally and radio screen hobby doesn't turn off on vehicle turn off, is this all to do with the inactive sus?

Requires some translation:

nob = knob

Air Suspension Knob light should only come on if you press it to fix the suspension height. When off you can adjust heights (as you say you can)

sinkers = winkers = indicators

radio screen hobby = radio screen jobby = radio screen

Have a feeling you have something wrong in the ECU chain somewhere. Suggest a battery disconnection procedure (see wiki) as a first port of call, then if that doesn't work connect up to Testbook/IIDtool etc. .

Apparently so.
I've just carried out the said method, to no avail, my main question is, is it common to have the fault "air sus inactive" with all the other things? Cheers

It can be, often associated with battery/alternator issues. Next step is really to get your faults read, find out which bit of the EAS is causing the problem. .

I can hear my air sus compressor starting and stopping over and over a few times, if I go full lock both ways, turn off and start up its gone for about 10-15 seconds then two arrows either side of the display area with nothing in the middle until I turn off and it says air sus inactive, also no stealing controls apart from heated s/wheel and horn work

Scotland 2003 Range Rover SE Td6 Epsom Green

My air fault came on while off roading and I was told pump over heating.
Which, after letting it cool it was back to normal.
I concluded that the pump being encased in the shell was working as it should but being off roading the pump was working 'overtime' and overhet.
Cure?
Bought a new pump assemble and put some copper water 15mm pipes as a spacer in the join of the pump shell to allow fresh, cooler air in.

All seems fine noo

Hope ye get yours sorted Made in Scotland frae 'Girders'

Hello all.

Not sure if this is the correct way to ask, but I read a bloody good write up, with pictures, on here 'somewhere' regarding the refurb of the suspension compressor, more than the standard piston ring change, this write up stripped out the silicon gel? Dried it out etc and replaced.
Now I actually want to do it, do you think I can find the thread !!! Big Cry

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
