Range rover chassis measurements

Hi all
I have had a mishap in my 2002 mk 3 range rover the insurance has written it off and I have bought it back. I would like the measurements of the chassis/body to see if it requires jigging. Does anyone have access to such information, quite happy to pay for them just don't know where to look.

Thanks Mick

If you take pictures and give instructions of the measurements you want, I'd be happy to do a bit of measuring..... .

Hi Joe as you can see the damage is more at the top haven't stripped it yet but suspect the turret ant the top could have moved in a couple of CMs. could you measure between the turret bolts that hold the suspension air bags for me please.

I think that the information you’re after is in the Service Procedures section of RAVE

Well, just out of interest I went out to have a measure on "C"

The closest I could get to 1172.6mm was to measure from the outside of the thread on the two most forward threads on the turret, the one on the LHS being the "earth" connection for a jump start and the equivalent on the other side, which gave 1171mm.

On my car (and from your picture) the "outboard fixing" as in dictated in the diagram is not a bolt but the pointy thing which locates the upper part of the suspension strut. This measures much wider ?

Car looks very sad, even more so as it is a red one Wink Big Cry .

Mick, it doesn't look hard enough to have moved the strutt top! Normally the cost of parts is the big killer when you hit the front corner...

I have all the parts to repair your car if of interest pal? PM me if of interest Thumbs Up

At £14k to repair you're probably in "break it up and buy a facelift" territory unfortunately Sad

Is there other damage we can't see in the photos? That really does not look like 14k worth of damage. Previously..
